Once the name appears, select it from the list.
In the "Open another mailbox" window, Start typing the name of the person or mailbox you want to open. Click on Open another mailbox. from the list of options. Click on your icon in the upper-right corner. When you return to your main Outlook window, you should see the shared account will appear under your mailbox in the list of folders on the left. Click Close on the "Account Settings" window. Click OK on the "Microsoft Exchange" window. Type in the name of the account you are trying to open. Under the "Mailboxes" section, click on the Add. button. 
Click More Settings. in the lower right. In the "Account Settings" window, click on Change. in the "Email" tab. Choose Account Settings again from the drop-down menu. Click Info from the left column and click on Account Settings on the right in the "Account Information" pane. From inside of Outlook, click on the File tab. Open a shared mailbox in Outlook for Windows Click on the "Home" tab and then click on the Send & Receive button on the right in the ribbon. Once located, select the name from the list and click Add. In the "Open Mailbox." window, type in the name or email address of the person or mailbox you are trying to add. Click the + under the "Open these additional mailboxes" section. Click Delegation and Sharing on the right. 
Select your Bowdoin account (should be selected by default). From inside of Outlook, click on the Tools tab.
